We visit the desert that was the filming location for numerous spaghetti westerns and famous films such as Cleopatra and Lawrence of Arabia. The region of Siberia Extremeña, home to what is said to be the largest natural roundabout in Europe and one of the most beautiful in the world.
Ojo Guareña, in Burgos, the second largest karst complex in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the 10 largest in the world. The Basque Coast Geopark, one of the best places on the planet to see flysch, a formation of superimposed layers of rock that tell us about the geological history of the Earth. We also explore Yos Arribes del Duero, a steep canyon with walls reaching up to 400 metres, which the force of the Duero River, in northwest Spain, carved out of the hard granite rocks.
