Greenland. Earth’s largest island and a remote frontier of ice and life. At the center of this frozen wilderness stand two iconic creatures: the mighty muskox, a symbol of endurance, and the polar bear, the Arctic’s most formidable predator.
Through shifting seasons and harsh extremes, these animals shape and define the rhythm of life in a land of glaciers, sea ice, and tundra, where the battle for survival unfolds in the face of a rapidly changing climate.
The young filmmaker, Unai Canela, ventures alone into Greenland to film these mythical creatures of the Arctic, symbols of adaptation in one of the most extreme environments. After spending three months alone in the tundra among the muskoxen, he heads to a remote Inuit settlement in search of polar bears. Alongside the muskox and polar bear, arctic foxes, caribou, hares, and ravens navigate a breathtaking Arctic realm shaped by ice, light, and wind.
