In this chapter, we shall travel to one of the most amazing pyramids in Mexico: The Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan. In the Bogotá Planetarium, a group of children learns to follow the Sun’s trajectory using an ancient clock, and we will attend a very special ritual for the Winter Solstice, the Inti Raymi or Feast of the Sun in Tiwanacu, situated in the high plateau of Bolivia. How is the Sun studied and observed? We shall travel to the Canary Islands in Spain, to see one of the most important solar telescopes in the world.
