Synopsis
An exceptional underwater discovery reveals the remains of extinct animals that lived along the Pacific coast more than 20,000 years ago. An exciting archaeological quest reconstructs a vanished Ice Age landscape, when the shoreline lay far beyond its present limits, and the first humans were beginning to inhabit the Americas. What did the rising sea engulf? And why did so many of these animals disappear? The Lost Coast of the Ice Age explores a forgotten world and the dramatic environmental changes that transformed it.
