Northern Norway, Nils enters his 58th Spring migration in the worst conditions. On their way to the coast where they will spend the summer, his reindeers suffer from the climatic upheaval of the Arctic. The ancestral territory of the Sami (so-called Lapps) has become the new Eldorado of the energy and mining industries, imperiling the Sami‘s lifestyle, the last herders of the Far North. This documentary film presents the daily life of the Far North‘s nomadic peoples. How will the Sami survive in the near future, confronting both climate change and the merciless spirit of conquest of the planet‘s largest energy multinationals?
