Synopsis
ILLEGAL shows a mother's fight to ensure her daughters right to health. Her struggle originated a national movement towards the legalization of medicinal marijuana in Brazil. In one side, a 5-year-old girl. In the other, a substance derivated from cannabis sativa which ends a the chlid's seizures due to a rare and incurable type of epilepsy. Between them, a law that prevents the treatment.
