Catalan human towers rise more than ten metres into the sky, creating a spectacular sight. Structures weighing thousands of kilos, built solely through trust, balance and collective strength. The castells are one of the world’s most extraordinary cultural traditions, recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
For over two centuries, castellers have pushed the limits of body and spirit, standing level by level on shoulders to build living towers, while below the pinya, a human base, absorbs the weight and protects those above. At the center is the team captain, driven to reclaim victory amid the risks carried by the group, especially the children who climb to the top without a safety net.
