While the world experienced one of the worst pandemics ever, the wild animals of the African Savannah suffered a genuine odyssey which was never told before. A television crew, trapped in the Masai Mara when the world locked down, was able to witness the unique story of how wildlife lived through the impacts of climate change and the pandemic in 2020. The worst flood in over half a century caused despair among the animals, as the hunting of prey got harder and harder. How would they survive during those unpredictable times?
Due to being trapped in the Masai Mara Wildlife Reserve alone, without any tourists, the television crew got to be a part of an extraordinary scenario in which both, humans and animals, came to their limits.
