Synopsis

In the forests of six central African countries live the “Little People”, a collective of indigenous hunter-gatherer tribes that live a life in harmony with the forest’s ecosystem, traditionally hunting, gathering, fishing, and collecting. This film captures the unique rites and traditions of their communal life within the jungle. As ultimate specialists of their environment, and holders of an immense ancestral knowledge of forest ecology, the Pygmies have an essential role to play in the future of this invaluable forest heritage.
