Synopsis
Episodes

A visually stunning travel series that reveals some of the world's most breathtaking and remote rural landscapes, far from mass tourism.

We’ve all seen the postcards of the world’s most iconic tourist attractions. Millions of tourists visit the same places every year, taking the same photo. But what happens if you drive two hours inland? If you leave the highway, take a dirt track, and ask where the road ends? There, the real story begins.

In each episode we travel to a different country or region - including destinations as diverse as Oman, Sri Lanka or Cook Islands to discover not only the iconic sights, but the hidden side: a lost valley, a deep desert, a remote volcanic area.

Visually powerful, the series is built on breathtaking cinematography. Beyond the landscape, each journey explores the local nature in detail, its flora, geology and wildlife, its authentic gastronomy, and its active tourism and rural traditions through genuine encounters with local people.
