In Nyamirambo (Rwanda), a poor, cosmopolitan district of the vibrant capital, Amani (31) has set up a program to support children and their vulnerable parents. A survivor of the Tutsi genocide, this young man knows that social inequalities and trauma are an ideal feeding ground for an aggressive ideology of retribution, despite the policy of national reconciliation. Over 30 years after the genocide, these influences still torment the Rwandan people. Amani and his volunteer friends spare no effort to build towards a peaceful society with few resources, starting with the children, one life at a time.
