Synopsis

Research is now focusing on the microbiota, and what we eat to help treat depression, anxiety disorders or hyperactivity. If a person suffers from a porous abdominal wall, the microbiota’s billions of micro-organisms are suspected to migrate to the brain and influence diseases as diverse as Parkinson, Alzheimers, obesity, hyperactivity, or depression. An investigation into our second brain, the gut: could our gut health help cure psychological disorders?
